Tasting Note:
A golden, herbal, aromatic wine made from Sardinia's bestknown
white grape, offering a pleasant mouthful of herbs
and almonds.
Winemaking:
Grape varieties: 70% Vermentino (harvested in September),
30% Nuragus (harvested in October). Fermentation takes
place at 16-20 C using selected yeast, followed by early
bottling to preserve the organoleptic nuances.
Vineyard :
From vineyards located in 5 municipalities of the lower
Sulcis district, with counter-espalier training, on different
types of soils, with medium mixture, tending to sandy or
clayey. The climate is Mediterranean with hot and dry
summers and mild winters.
Food matching:
It is an ideal match with seafood dishes, antipasti or as an
aperitif. Try it with one of the following; fried fish with
Moroccan-style herb sauce, poached salmon fillets with dill
creme fraiche or tatsoi and warm scallop salad with spicy
pecan praline.
