This certified quality oil reflects the excellence and grandeur of one of the oldest and most renowned olive oil traditions in the world.
It comes from Tuscan olives mainly of the Leccino, Moraiolo and Frantoio varieties , harvested and cold pressed using traditional methods.
Production areas and characteristics of olive cultivation, methods of oil production and characteristics of the oil for consumption are established in a specification issued by the Ministry of Agricultural Policies and subjected to control by the Consortium for the protection of Tuscan PGI Extra Virgin Olive Oil .
The characteristics of this product are the yellow-gold colour with warm green tones, the clear olive aroma with herbaceous hints, the taste characterized by an elegant fruity charge, moderately unripe and with a pleasant spicy sensation.
