De Decco Paccheri #125
Paccheri are typical of Campania. Their name derives from "paccarià" which in the Neapolitan dialect means "slap": probably in the popular tradition we wanted to remember the thick and heavy consistency. They are widespread, with different names, also in other regions.
They are recommended for the preparation of dry pasta seasoned with dense and full-bodied meat sauce, such as the Neapolitan one, which can penetrate inside the pasta and flavor it.
Alternatively they can be enjoyed in baked pies with cheese and tomato sauce or with rich fish sauces.
