Carbone Yellow Datterino Tomatos
The yellow datterino tomato, contrary to what one might think, is the progenitor of the tomato we know today.
The first tomato growers were the indigenous Americans who made a large and immense consumption of it and who thought that the yellow berries had an aphrodisiac power.
The plant was then exported to Spain for ornamental use, but it is from there that the Italians took the name "golden apple" to use the fruit that is on our tables today.
The yellow datterino has a sweet taste and is characterized by the total absence of acidity. When harvested, it comes in regular bunches of 14-16 fruits, with a not well defined and uniform cylindrical shape.
It is rich in substances with a high antioxidant power capable of neutralizing free radicals. It also contains vitamins C, A and group B vitamins.
Precisely because, compared to the classic tomato, it has no acidity, it is widely used in recipes based on fish and seafood and for filling pizza.

Tradition, quality and competence, characteristics that have distinguished us for 3 generations. We transform the products of our land following the entire supply chain starting from the seed.
The line "the good that you see", packaged in the classic "Buccaccio", is the return to the peasant tradition that used to preserve seasonal vegetables in glass to make them available all year round.
Employing advanced production processes and time-honoured conservation methods, we've retained the original flavour of our yellow datterino tomatoes, pleasing the cravings of customers whose preferences are geared towards the search for excellence.
